There’s plenty to learn after the last school bell rings, and the Michigan After-School Partnerships (MASP) organization is eager to share its knowledge with communities across the state. That’s why they asked Artemis to create a site that would raise awareness of their services and get people involved.

Problem:

Despite its rapid growth in the past few years, this non-profit organization lacked both a graphic identity and a web presence. They needed to step up their communication with two key elements:

1) A professional brand

2) A web site to share information about after-school programs, educate people about their services, and encourage involvement

Solution:

We began with graphic design, choosing fresh colors and positive images of children to create a friendly, yet knowledgeable, brand identity. This was a crucial first step to making all MASP communications consistent and professional.

Next, we focused on information architecture. We used an intuitive navigation tree and structured content to maximize cross-linking and improve SEO. After developing and implementing the site, we provided user training to MASP staff to help them maintain the site.
